Though Franklin E. Wales was born in Conway, NH, he has been a transplanted Floridian for over a decade. He currently lives in Palm Beach County with his beautiful wife, four cats and one very ugly dog, and a very sweet puppy.
Throughout his career he has written and published numerous pieces of both fiction, and nonfiction. His second novel, GAMEMASTER is now available.

 Due to a series of events, VARIATION has been put on hold. I have received some interest on a Demon Possession novel I have titled, FRIEND, from a small publishing house. I am currently working away on the rewrite. The western, PURGATORY JUNCTION, seems to have hit a wall. Movie people, I am learning, are a fickle lot. I am currently shopping the script to potential buyers. Speaking of movies, the DVD of my interview with David “The Rock” Nelson should be ready very soon. Those of you who have requested information will receive an e-mail when it is ready. I have picked up some regular work over at HACKER’S SOURCE interviewing some of the legends whose work I admire. I understand there are still a few issues left of issue #23 which features my interview with Herschell Gordon Lewis. I’m proud of the piece. Herschel wrote to say that he enjoyed it so much that he had broken his self imposed rule, and is showing it off to his friends! Both BOOGER, and GAMEMASTER continue to sell well, though I still hope to put them with a publishing house when I can.
